My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Airelles Gordes, La Bastide for a weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the historical charm of the property. The staff, dressed impeccably, were not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, always ensuring our needs were met without being intrusive, truly embodying the spirit of French hospitality.Our deluxe valley view room was a haven of comfort and elegance, with a spacious bathroom that offered a separate shower and bath—a perfect blend of luxury and heritage. The views from the terrace were simply breathtaking, allowing us to unwind and soak in the beauty of the Luberon region while enjoying a leisurely read and a refreshing drink.Dining at La Citadelle restaurant was a highlight, even though the weather didn't permit us to dine on the terrace. The service was impeccable, and the sommelier's wine recommendations were spot on. While the overall meal was delightful, the lamb dish fell slightly short of expectations. We couldn't help but envy the guests enjoying lunch under the shade of the trees the next day—it's a must-try for the location alone.The property's attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the complimentary amenities in the room to the efficient valet parking service. The seamless check-in and check-out process, along with the exceptional service throughout, left a lasting impression on us.
